City Mission Holiday Food Drive

When 1,600 families received food baskets at the City Mission just before Thanksgiving, they had the opportunity to attain information about a variety of programs available to them. 

Cleveland Central Weed & Seed organized governmental entities and nonprofit organizations to distribute helpful materials and had staff members on hand to questions about the services they offer.  Attendees could pick up free smoke detectors for their home, learn about employment assistance find a job, learn about programs for senior citizens, obtain a HEAP application, and much more.
