Steering Committee & Subcommittees

The strong point of the site has been the commitment of resources and service delivery for the effective administration and development of the program.  Currently, the Steering Committee is comprised of residents, community stakeholders, and a wealth of government agencies and service providers.

The Weed and Seed subcommittees were established with the understanding that each subcommittee will determine and oversee more focused subcommittees upon implementation of the strategy.

The Steering Committee has already identified several more focused subcommittees to be formed including youth development initiatives, senior citizen initiatives, green space development and planning, and landlord/tenant issues.

Additional residents, business owners, and organization and agency leaders have offered their services to the Steering Committee since the start of this initiative. These individuals will serve on the Weed and Seed subcommittees or in the focused subcommittee groups.
